When someone says, “You stole my hear” they don’t really mean it. But you knew that. But when someone says something like “I’m going to kill myself tonight,” you should really listen up, you may ask why and kind of think its stupid, but when you think that… you don’t believe them. But these things could be serious. Like from the story of the Columbine High School massacre. Some of the shooters friends confirmed that they did say that they were going to bring weapons to school some day and start one of these shootings. But none of their friends actually believed them. These things should be taken very seriously. You should NEVER fool around with these thoughts or even words. People will say them to joke around, but others say these things in serious ways as if they were actually going to do this stunt. 5 out of 8 teans say these things BEFORE they do. So let’s listen up. That’s what ears are for. Hearing is one of the most amazing gifts people could have in their life. I’m not trying to say people don’t listen or care, but some people are just acting as bystanders and not doing anything about this. They know that they might actually try to attemp this stunt but they never have the guts to actually tell someone. So let’s go use are gifts and help others and even the world with this crisis.

“Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.”

James Dean

Christmas

Sparkling Lights

Shining Stars

The Strong smell of baking dough in the oven

The breeze of freezing air

Snowmen

Snowforts

Snowball fights

Shoveling

Can’t fall asleep that night

The ripping of the paper

Then the surprising looks on the childrens faces, that they got exactly what they wanted  for Christmas.

Or the mad faces that they didn’t get what they wanted

We go through this every year, but it’s the reason why our families get together and be together that very day and share our reasons on why we are family and what happens on that very day

My Three Words

One,

More,

Sandbag…

My three words, for the 2 weeks we went through, the treat the flood brought us

Threatening homes, and maybe even lives

Changing those who helped, were evacuated, or even just sat and watched as the river grew nearer and nearer

The Mayor, Dennis Walacker, his voice cracking up…going through is second record breaking flood, just saying “One more day, One more sandbag”

We listened, we helped, we believed

We knew we were strong, having people come from Park Rapids, MN… Grand Forks, ND…and even more

But for those who helped, for those who lost homes… Red Cross Centers set up a South Campus II or former Agassi, even pet shelters.

The rememberence of this flood, will never go away for those who witnessed or were in close counter with the high river water.

The hurtful words

The cuts and scraps

The bleeding of the trust, the spirit

The bleeding of the skin, the ripped veins

Then remembering the phrase “Sticks and Stones can break my bones, but words can’t bring me down” or maybe just “Sticks and Stones can break my bones”

Then realizing the only way that Sticks and Stones can break your bones is if you allow them to, or if someone is hurting you verbally.

But the only way those things will ever happen to a person, is if you allow it

In a life you’ll have some ups and downs, such as being hurt verbally

There are those who stand up, there are those who stand back and there are those who criticise

If you one of those who gets verbally abused, just walk away

Those who are abusing, just want to make you mad, want to annoy… feel good about what they have done

But those who are hurt physicly…there’s two things recommened to do

for those who are abused physicly, suggestions have been made to get help… from such as police, or an adult

One other thing i suggest for those who are physicly abused, is to be more physicly active

The more pysicly active, the more muscle strength and bone strenght

Which would create less damage to the human body

That’s just my opinion, but it’s just advice for those who need help and for those who are trapped, alone in a corner and have no where to go

Easter

Painting eggs to a Pink or a Blue or maybe a Orange, putting in the fridge awaiting for the night to come

Waking up in the morning

Hoping and wondering what the “Easter Bunny” has brought for you this year

Finding a basket of Chocolate Bunnies and Chocolate Eggs

Tearing open the paper box, ripping out the Chocolate Bunny like nothing can stop you

Starting at its ears, trying to bit harder and harder but its like frozen

You finally get that first bite, taking the tips of the ears right off

While your chewing the hardened chocolate, the chocolate is melting, drizzling down your tounge, slightly running down your throat

After finishing the Easter candy,

Grabbing your Easter Basket, scavaging the house

Searching and finding the painted Easter Eggs

Some hidden in the easiest places, but some hidden in the most clever places

Going to a relative’s for dinner

Coming back home for a good night’s sleep, from getting up early to going to bed late,

then getting older, and learning about the true meaning of Easter

Thunder

The bangs and the booms

may be frightning or an unexpected rawr

the many names created for this so called ‘thunder’. In a religious belief, it would be called, ‘God is bowling with the angels’ or a related term ‘God got a strike!’

The powerful bang, is an amazing thing. Created by just a little spark, of two seperate cloud, just creating the smallest amount of friction. Which means some of the biggest things come from the smallest.

Raindrops

Feeling each one falling onto your dry, sensative skin. Running down your face with intense speed as two drops tie together creating a bigger size, but then splitting into two.

Raindrops, having many names

Each raindrop shall represent every person in the world now.

The raindrops are God’s own tears

Names from around the world, as we know it

The raindrops are a gift from Mother Nature, forever, we must treasure this gift. As we shall treat it as if it was one of our own

Cartoons

Those early Saturday mornings

waking up

while everyone else is wrapped around knit blankets

turning the dial

to the right television station

all those fuzzy stations

as mom calls them “snow storms”

reaching the right television station

being hypnotized by the cartoon violence

as a cat trying to catch a mouse

but never succeeding

but after the cartoons are over,

all that’s on…

is those old news shows that mom and dad

ask you to turn the channel to

Friendship

The people you meet
the first day of your life

Growing up with the people
you know almost every little detail about

They sometimes seem to follow you everywhere
but when they’re not there
you worry and fell like somethings missing

You finally realize
they were just waiting for you to fall
so they could help you right back up again
